OK, this is not a parts review rather than a mod review. However, it should help people decide if they need a different/higher pressure reg. Please keep in mind this was done on a NA, a turbo would be a different matter.

What I did was basically disconnecting the vacuum hose from the FPR, plugging the hose and installing a filter on the FPR. This raises fuel pressure to max even @ idle.
In the end, nothing changed. The car didn't have a better throttle response, no more power, just nothing. Exept the mileage decreased a bit and it smelled badly like turpentine on every cold start. This mod isn't worth it for NA guys, I can't recommend it.

sounds like a fse boost valve (uprated fuel pressure regulator) i put one on my colt and had the same problems not worth the money realy!! :(
