I'd say still go for the Whitelines if you can afford them.

Probably not, the whiteline springs are firm in back.
What color are the springs?

These are some good springs, much firmer than stock. Unfortunately, much softer than my buddies Eibach Sportlines. But a good overall upgrade.

Are these springs worth putting on to help hook up in a straight line, or should I look into a different setup?

For straight line, back = super stiff. You will need to stiffen the back more than is usually good for side to side fun, when all you want is straight line, front end planting.

What springs are on your car right now 89coltgt?

89ColtGT, I'd say these are good choice for a street/strip car. Watch my video I posted, and see how little the rear squats with the whitelines/3 yr old GR2s.
I was running all stock 1.5 springs w/GR2's, and ran a best of 12.6.
Went back to the track for a few passes with only things changed being the poly bushings and whitelines and nabbed a 12.3, 12.2, and a 12.1.

What are your 1/4 time goals? Do you 'drive' your car, or just have fun with it? What is your budget allowing ? 8)

Right now I am piecing together parts for the colt buildup. Plans are to drop the 2.4 in it and run an fp3065, but I may just go with a 4g63 with a 50 trim. I won't be driving daily, mostly weekends, and I don't really have to cheap out in this area of the build. I just want the thing to hook up-and keep it fwd. 1/4 mile goals? I dunno whatever I can muster with it.

Has anyone compared the b&g's to whitelines? I am stuck between the two. For shocks, I am thinking Koni yellows.

What is a good site to get a new set of springs for a 1.6t?

I have been looking for the whitelines but I couldn't seem to find a good vendor.
