can i just cap off the fitting where the line comes off of the intake to the pcv valve? i started on my own accumulator can today, is the pcv valve still used in this setup? |

You need the PCV valve. Don't take it off. |

ok, the vaccum line comming off of the intake to the pcv, can i plug that line and just have the line comming from the pcv valve to the catch can? im getting a bov and i need a vaccum sorce to hook it up to. i also need one to hook my boost gauge up to. could i hook both of these up to the same vac line? |

oh, and on taboospeedshop.com they say you can can get rid of the pcv valve, as long as you have a catch can, and all of the other vac lines on the valve cover are going to the can as well. |

The crankcase needs to breathe. You can route the PCV to the breather hose via a catch can. This is proven to work quite good. I'd still hesitate to remove the PVC. |

wont it breathe just with an open line going to the catch? im not saying i want to plug off the line, i just want to do away with the pvc by removing its internals. |

Now I get it. Shure you can remove that damn thing. Just make sure you have a catch can to route the breather hose and the PCV hose to.. That's it.
