ya know those speakers under the dash in a '92 colt 200?(is there like a generation thing you guys use I could reference to instead of refering to the exact year and model all the time?). I havn't pulled em out yet(not important enough yet) but what size are they and are the hard to upgrade?

They're dead easy to upgrade. I think they are 3.5 inches, don't remember exactly tho.

They're 100 mm = 4 inches. The time-consuming part is getting this part of the dash disassembled. However it is straight forward.

What are the speakers that go in front of the hatchback...... 90. I'm talking about the one that sits right off/above the left knee when you are sitting at the wheel. What size? Are these the ones you guys were talking about? I want to get some good ones for the front since my back ones were updated. Thanks

Those are the 4" ones mentioned earlier, I believe. and mine were WAY easy to get out... the speaker grille cover just pops off, and then you pull a couple of screws and the speaker comes out. I'm checking around to see if I can find something decent (like Polk Audio) that will be a direct replacement...

Now, the ones in the door are a bit more work, as you have to pull the door panel off to remove the speaker.

Yep these speakers are 4" and deadd easy to remove. Ive got a set of 100wrms Jaycar speakers in there (do you have this brand in america? Jaycar are an electronics store)

Many reviews have been conducted on speakers of this size and the quality of the jaycars is comparable to much more expensive and higher end brands (and they only cost $100aud a set!)
