the best thing to do is

let the car sit over night to let it cool down go out the next morning and turn the key on and the put the temp needle on as for the gas i filled my tank till i could get no more in and then i put the needle on

ok thanks man thats what i was thinking but for the temp it seems that when i get the key out of the ignition the needles doesnt goes to "zero" understand?

you sure the needle is not rubbing the gauge face?

yeah maybe ill check this 2moro morning with my temp and for the fuel ill check this heuu 2moro night after i went back at home after school its sucks that i have 2hrs of driving everyday

I had probs with the needle rubbing on the tach. My temp guage always ran smack in the middle. If yours is that way also, just warm her up and stick it in the middle. I cant seem to get my gas needle set correctly though. :-? Ultimate,y i'm going with the stock guages as i didnt like how it looked at night. I did find you can scrape the green paint off the back of the numbers(carefully) and they shine through clear. Then i made a template of the face out of colored plastic sheeting(blue) Numbers are visible in the day and night!

I have a Panasonic CQ-DF602U deck.
Alpine Type R 6.5" separetes in the front.
Alpine Type R 6.5" components in the rear.
MTX Thunder 4244 4 channel amp running the alpines.
2 - 15" Lanzar pro comp Subs.
Phoenix Gold QX900.1D amp running the Subs.

I competed in a few dB competitions this year and did really well with this set up. My highest score was 154.3 dB. Its almost too much for my poor little colt to handle, I am constantly re-tightening screws all over the car. :twisted:

ok, i got all jensen in my car (tried to get sponsored...) just a few months before they declared bankruptcy... :evil: but at least they're trying to reorganize.

- jensen head unit (forget the model, the one with the silver faceplate during the day and backlit red at night)
- 4" jensen mids
- 6" jensen mids
- 6x9" jensen mids with tweeters
- 10" jensen 525 watt sub with box
- 600 watt jensen amp

I have Pioneer 6x9's - not mounted - sitting on my back seat
Stock dash speaker - which I have no clue how to get out - haven't really tried yet but....

Clarion head unit
2 12" Infinity Perfect 12's in custom box
and Kenwood KAC-X810D 1600 watt amp

Gonna see what I can hit after winter - gonna enter a few competitions
This is my friend's old subs but my new amp

Hi Guys mint a car audio section.
I have:
2 - 12" Alpine type S Subs
2 - 10" Pioneer Diamond Series Subs
1 - 7.2" LCD Screen
2 - 120W 6x9 Alpine Spearkers
4 - 6.5" Round Alpine Speakers
2 - 6.5" Pound Jensen Speakers
1 - 145 RMS Rockford Amp
1 - 800 RMS Lightning Audio Comp Series Amp
1 - 600 RMS PhonixGold 4 ch Amp
1 - PS2 used as dvd and gaming system
2 - 1 farad Caps Rockford (one digital)
1 - extra wrapped alt.

I think that is all I have in it not including neons and other bits like that. What does everyone else have as a Alarm? Do you want to tell or is everyone keeping thoses cards close to there chest. If I think of anything else then I will let you know. You guys can check out my site on cardomain.com look under colts then one that says black and blue colt 200 GT or something like that. It had 5 stars last time I checked so look there first. If anyone would like to see newer pics then let me know. As I am selling my colt / parting it out I would be interested in selling my high output alt. If anyone is interested pls pm me.

200 watt pyle hide away deck
2 infinity tweeters 300 watts each mounted on the dash.
2 pioneer 6 1/2's 100 watts each in the doors i had to cut the door panel for them to fit.
2 pioneer 6x9's 250 watts each in the middle of the seat.
2 lightning audio 500 watts each chrome series 10's
1 jensen 400 watt amp runnin the tweeters 6 1/2's and 6x9's.
1 jvc 560 watt amp bridged running the 2 10's
all and all it sounds aight nothing big but why put a big heavy system when u want ur car to be light.

all stock save my cheap rampage 150watt amp and a 12" house now converted to a car sub lol and my 2 pioneer 6x9's all FREE!!!! muhahahaha's this sound system is a sleeper as well lol you cant hear much outside thecar... open the door and be prepared to go deaf lol
