ok so i got my rims today, however i couldn't put them on cause i couldn't find the supporter for the jack, does anyone know where it is? i have a 1988 colt 4 door.


please help me asap.

Do you have a rolling floor jack or are you stuck with the OEM car jack?
Either way, the safest measure is to pay someone to change the wheels for you, and then show you where the jack locations for the car would be while the car is in the air.

I can't remember the differences under the car between the C10 and C52 frames, so I would have to let the others confirm those.

Just look under the car for the seam where the side was rolled and welded to the belly pan. The indicators for the reinforced sections will have little notches cut out on both sides. It will look something like this...

Belly pan

__A_____A____

Bottom of car, open air

The will be just behind the front wheel wells and in front of the rear wheel wells.
