Ok guys I've been to many performance shops and it look like there is not an actual coilover that is built for my car......

now what exactly are my options here?

- is there another car I can get coilovers from (talon?)
- can I use universal coilover?
- last resort......cut the springs (I don't wanna do but....)

unless anyone knows of some magic springs that will fit my car ?????

mmrusa.com they sell dropzone, intrax and b&g lowering springs for our cars. use ground control coil overs for the talon.

tilf_hunter,

no those are struts. coilovers are springs usually fitted with shocks/struts that are adjustable. it's more about the type of spring than anything else.

i did do a search on the site and these were the only coilovers i found that could work:
http://www.diamondstarspecialties.com/p ... 27-100-900
anyone KNOW if these will work with our cars? i assume they would be like the dropzones. anyone know about dss quality also? granted they're one of the FEW companies that makes anything specifically for our cars, but just cause we're beggers doesn't mean we can be choosers too 8)

The best way to get the ones from DSS, is to call them and ask to speak to Mike. He actually has a mirage, or used to. Tell him what you want the coilovers for (street, track, autox) and he get the correct spring rates for you.

As stated they are $450. They use what are IMO, the best springs available for coilovers.

You will have the best results for these if you match them with Koni's. If you put them on your original struts, or GR2's, you will have problems with the struts blowing quickly.
