I saw turbo stealth or 3000gt in my tiny local yard. Its in nasty shape inside ie: moisture and its picked a bit in the bay no turbos or intercoolers.

My question is does anyone know if there are any items that are upgrades for our csms? Like brakes, master cylinder stuff lime that? Or is it the non turbo cars that have upgrades we can use?

Also anyone know if the ecu connectors are the same as a dsm? I will look next time i go

thanks for reading

There are plenty of parts on there that can be resold. It has a larger brake master cylinder. I've sold several sets of the VR4 brakes and turned a decent profit. The ECU if the board looks good. I'm sure there are tons of other parts too.

Thanks for the reply, i wasnt really thinking of grabbing anything for resale unless someone here pipes up with a direct need for something. Then i probably would get it for them. Our yard is kinda spendy

I was more wondering if any of the parts would be an upgrade or benifit to my csm. Original turbo car.
Are the brake upgrades for our cars? I have expo knuckles now so i may need rotors calipers etc. Is the master cyl and booster the one i need if i ever do the expo dual piston big brake upgrade?

Thanks

Yeah I know, just saying I'd grab them while I was there if they were reasonable on the price, that's all. You'd be fine with a 1" bore M/C from the standard na 3000gt/stealth should you decide to upgrade your front calipers to the twin piston ones. Your stock booster is also fine since you have a GT car.

The VR-4 brakes would require different rotors and custom brackets and probably at least a 16" if not a 17" wheel. The standard na brakes are what everyone else upgrades to and they are plenty, plus they tuck nicely under 15's.
