Dodge Dakota?
Couple of the threads posted listed the white canister being from some other Mitsubishi vehicles too.

I searched a JDM Galant E39a with the partsbase.org catalogues:

Click on each "Plus +" symbol" and you will get each type of vehicle, and the region they come from, that had that part number = white canister.

People use wastegate actuators to actuate the runners too. I like that method. You get the runner changeover with boost instead of RPM.
