Hi,

first, I admit. I'm too lazy to search this picky question.

I'm looking sliding pins and the brake pad guide (scooters ??) for rear caliper (for my CSM 89).

I will give a try at my local autopark, but does someone know if pins and guide from rear caliper DSM 1G FWD are the same as rear caliper for CSM ?

As I know, only the hand brake cable is different on a rear caliper CSM vs DSM 1G FWD. Is this correct ?

DSM parts are identical as far as I know. That pin you have pictured is for a front caliper though. The rears are sleeves with a bolt that passes through the center.

True, I took the first "commun picture" of a sliding pins. After a quick search (with DSM rear caliper) , I found this picture.

It should look like this :

When you are saying that all DSM caliper are the same, do you include 1G vs 2G AND FWD vs AWD ???

Thanks for your help !

1g fwd & awd rear calipers are similar but not exact, 2g rear calipers are completely different.

The stock lines for front (turbo and base model) and rear use a screw in tapered fitting.

Later model twin piston calipers used the banjo bolts.

All 90-94 rear dsm calipers use a banjo bolt setup.

Are you sure? I thought it was the FWD that had the banjo - I'll check mine.

Not 100% positive, but I know the fwd's do since I've pulled a ton of them for my rear disc conversions.

FYI : Raybestos provide calipers bolts , hardware kit and so on. Take a look in this post ==> http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.ph ... os#p315471

----------------------

Recently, I saw a picture from CaptainTonus. This is exactly what I'm looking for ! An adaptor banjo on one side and 3/16 on the other site (I'm not 100% sure about the 3/16 thread ?!?).

Where I can get this ?!?!? Is this OEM piece ?

I have several of those along with the matching banjo bolts. Cover shipping and I'll get some out in the mail to you. They are from a 1g dsm though. I'm positive the threaded section would be metric.

Yes fwd have the danjo bolt I also looked at the one on my swapped car. They are from a 92 awd and have no banjo bolt. The hose screws right into the caliper.
