Thanks guys! well i got one from a 1995 Hyundai Sonata and same thing, replaced and no tach working, i can't get it look if i connect the 109 wire to the red or white wire coming to the tach filter my tach moves but not correctly, so if i connect the wire to the out signal wire of the filter (yellow) nothing happens... |

Two of the wires go to the coils which I'm sure you know. The other I believe goes to the tach wire over on the P/S kick panel. I'd run it completely separate and not tie into the dsm engine harness anywhere. Hope this makes sense. |

Thanks for the pic, and yeah thats the way i have mines, so in this picture the yellow wire goes to the tach wire on the kick panel right? well im pretty sure thats the way i did but my tach did not move, so right now im taking the tach signal from the white one thats why my signal isn't correct, i check tomorrow once again...

But is it going through the dsm engine harness or straight to the tach wire on the cluster? |

Output tach filter signal straight to the cluster pin on the C-19, but still not working, if i get the signal straight from the coil the tach works but not correctly, so im assuming i got another non working tach filter, what do you think? i tried 2 the 90' and the 95' from the sonata |

I had to wire this for my tach to work. I actually have no idea what it was.
