Hello, i have a question and i'm hoping to find an answer.

I'm am about to buy a mitsu. colt 1.6glxi 1994, i would like to push up the hp a little bit, so i was looking for a cheap 4g63t swap.

there's a 4g63t 8v starion on the i-net, it's a complete engine with ecu, wiring, everything on it.

Is it possible to place it in the colt? i'm thinking to place the existing transmission from the 1.6....

who has the anwer??

that i already knew, but the basic is 4g63t, what i don't know if it fits in my colt as the other 4g63 engines...

The 4G63 we all use is a DOHC 2.0. The Starion motor is a SOHC 2.6.

If it is a swapped starion, with a GENUINE 4G63 in it, then yes, it will work fine. If it is a stock starion engine, do not use it.

Even if the 'basic' engine is similar to the 4G63 we use, it's not done for a reason.

If its a 2L 8V starion what part of the world are you in? Wideblock..?

What is the engine code of your glxi?

I don't know if it's a wide block, the owner of it doesn't know a thing about it...
Mayby i'll leave it behind...

What about a 4g61t in a 1994 colt?
