So, I'm leaking trans fluid out of my shift selector on the case. It seems I have to disassemble the tranny to replace that seal, I figured I might as well get a rebuild while it's out, would this be the same rebuild kit as the early 1g DSMs. If I take it to my DSM shop will they know how to rebuild it?lol

Ok, so the rebuilds are the same but are little pricey so I think I may just replace the lever seal that's leaking for now, anyone have a part number for it? I'm not sure if it even comes in the rebuilt kits..

Mine is doing the same thing. I just check the fluid periodically. I have been told that the km210 is a mix of na and turbo Dsm parts. I know an Evo 3/4 fork works in it :)

Well I guess it doesn't matter. The seal is very difficult if not impossible to replace, it's like some type of press pin thing. My mechanic that's been rebuiling dsm trannys for 8 years said I'm better off just getting a new tranny. Really sucks too because this is the best shifting dsm tranny I've ever felt lol

Are you talking about the shift lever?

If it shifts great and you want to keep it then don't worry about the leaking seal. At worst the underside of your chassis is being rust-proofed.
