I've searched and have yet to find any topics that state, "to install Elantra lower control arms on your turbo CSM, you need these parts". Has anyone made such a post? I don't want aftermarket bushings or caster changes, I just want to replace my factory bad bushings with good bushings. Can I just get arms and bushings for a '93 1.6L Elantra and bolt them on?

On a related note, has anyone made a post stating which OEM suspension parts are no longer available and if any other vehicle's parts will fit? For example, the rear trailing arm bushings are no longer available from the dealer and I can't find aftermarket ones. I'm looking for the bushings that attach the arms that are welded to the rear axle tube to the chassis.

Its seems as though a few people have tried the Elantra arms and they have worked. I just ordered some for my car and should have them next week. I will make a write up of the install, I just know when I will be able to install them. I couldn't find factory turbo or non-turbo arms anywhere (new or rebuilt). The Elantra arms will most likley change your camber, not your caster. Camber can be fixed with alignment bolts.

There are a few posts on the poly bushings you can buy from overseas, but it will take forever to get them. It looks like it will be a PITA to replace them on the stock arms, plus the arms are light gauge sheet metal and bend easily.

I have tried contacting JNZ tuning about getting multiple parts for these cars and have lucked out every time, they say that the parts are no longer available in the US.

Tein can get you superpro bushings from Australia, but it takes a while and you have to pay up front. They are really easy to replace once you get the control arms off the car, and you don't have to change your camber or caster. They make several different rear bushing pairs for the base model front lower control arms:
Front Control Arm Lower - Rear Bush SPF1140K 1 set- 2 Bushings 1600cc PS & DS standard caster settings
Front Control Arm Lower - Rear Bush SPF1141K 1 set -2 Bushings 1600cc PS increased DS standard caster
Front Control Arm Lower - Rear Bush SPF1142K 1 set- 2 Bushings 1600cc PS increased DS decreased caster
Front Control Arm Lower - Rear Bush SPF1142AK 1 set- 2 Bushings 1600cc PS & DS increased caster
It says 1600cc, but those would fit a 1.5L base model in the US.

^^^ You say they'll fit the US 1.5 base model... what about the Turbo? That's what I have, a GT turbo.

What about the rear arm bushings? Not the rear bushings for the front arms.

Elantra control arms will mess with your camber and toe. If you use them you will need an alignment after. I have them on my mirage sedan on both sides, actually helped me out with camber.

So in order to work on a c53a ( 3 door hatchback originally a 1.5 motor in it ) all I would need is the arms and then the elantra ball joints?

Correct, and an alignment after. It puts the wheel out around 1/3" farther then the stock mirage control arms.

92-95 will all be the same, most will come with a ball joint from my experience.

These lca will increase camber because of this fact. (which can be adjusted with when alignment is done with bolts or yoshifab tophats). Also, these LCA's may offset the bad camber that you'd get with wagon knuckles too?

Any negative effects on the axels now that they'll have to extend further?

Use DSM AWD axles.

No. Their use hasn't really been verified. DSM axles are an option if you swap out to non CSM knuckles.
