does anyone know how to modify or who sells a 1G short shifter kit? tried searching around a lil bit but just found 2G short shifters and cutting and welding your existing shifter... |

dont know if were talking about the same thing but i would like a short shifter for my 92. the semi truck-like shift throws have gotta go. |

MUCH easier to just cut the original and weld it. Making a 1g shifter fit would require using a dsm base which means different cables, etc. Just unbolt it, use a bandsaw to cut about an inch out of the center (above the ball) and weld it back together. |
