Hi Everyone i got a problem i hope you can fix. I stopped the car turned the switch for my lights to shut off and they didnt shut off. I turned the switch on and off several times but nothing, they didnt shut off. So i had to unplug the fuse and or battery to get them off. I think it might be the switch itself, hope so atleast since ive taken off the end, ripped it off. I dont know how to take it off corectly eighther. I need to know the way how to take these left side of stearing wheel headlight driving light switches off from our car. We took off numerous dash parts to get to these switches and still stuck. Took off the steering wheel and the little plastic piece thats round behind it was still stuck solid on or around the steering wheel or behind it. I couldnt see how to take it off, need to know how to take that off and how to get too this switch for the blinkers driving lights and headlights and do i need to replace whole black housing for all switches including cruise control and wiper control and blinkers and all? Anyways wheres a good place to find these too? Going to try to go to junk yard and see if one is on a galant or something similar i can use. Thanks if you can help me , CharleyTurbo...

You have to pull the steering wheel off to get the column switch assembly off.

The column switch assembly has wires coming from it. There is a connector at the end. Follow those wires and undo the connector. If your column switch is causing problems by grounding itself out somewhere, unplugging it, that should turn off the lights.

I found a headlight switch and blinker and cruise control switch already. Took it off put new one on and now everything works great except for the lights on the dash at night when i put the headlights on or twist the switch one position forward on left hand blinker side. Anyone know what to check with this problem? Thanks..
