In my AWD swapped GT I had this setup from a P.O.:

In my GVR4 I had this from a P.O.:

In the Scummit I am going to make a plate out of lexan/acrylic that will cover that lower tray directly in front of the shift boot and under the ash tray. The gauges will be mounted in this plate and the back of the plate painted black. I will definitely takes pics once it is done.

A member of the forum who never posts anymore. His name is eargasm6969. It took him like a year to do it, but he did it.

This is where Nate put the boost gauge, but then I sacraficed the drivers dash vent using a steel filler plate glued in and then used body filler to smooth it and then used black krinkle finish. I thought it turned out ok for being a free mod. The only reason for the monster tach was i could never get the wacko tacho adapter to work. I made a little L shaped bracket that bolted to the hvac control behind the radio bezel.

Im getting a buddy of mine who works at a local metal company that makes various stuff to fab up a aluminum gauge bezel to put inplace of the vents. He's also offered to make me darn near anything I can think of because he has a electronic lathe and cnc machine at his disposal. One idea I have for him that I've drawn up is a bracket that bolts into the PS spot to run a vaccum pump for a trick pcv set up. I'll keep you guys informed on the bezel!

ABS plastic tubing 2" will fit the 52mm gauges. These are Defi Racer Gauges - blue.
Blocks off your fuel level unless you stick your head over a bit, but everything else is properly visible.
Very similar to what was first posted, and does sacrifice the plastic top shield. You also need fibreglass, hot glue and bondo.

I cut that filler way back, so it pays to be good with a thin amount of fibreglassing, but just enough that it does not crack when you
have to file and sand it all. Bondo isn't that structural anyways.

I want more pictures of your underdash where the drivers front speaker would be.
It almost looks like a lightened underdash compared to the original USDM variety.

Heres a pic of all the nastiness before I took the car home. The speaker grills were a slotted plastic and the glove box looked like a normal us one but opened up like a big bucket. It was hinged lower on the dash and tilted out. I had to swap out the whole lower piece of the dash to get the common one to fit.
