a friend of mine is doing the swap 4g63t into a colt, he bought a turbo dsm wiring harness from ebay and its incomplete. its only the wiring along the firewall and into the car. I know there are differences between the wiring harnesses, but is the part of the harness that goes over the intake manifold and has the injector clips the same turbo and NT????

can anyone confirm???

thanks

I'm not following you. When I removed the turbo dsm wiring harness it was all one piece. All of the engine connectors were on it and it went through the firewall and had 3 connectors. Sounds like the one you are talking about got cut.

ok I'll clear it up a little. The harness has the fuse block on one end the big fuse block the main one, the ecu connecters on the other. its super thick all wraped, no signs of cutting at all. ok the tri fuse block that sits on top of the battery is even attached to it.

Supposedly the guy he bought it from got it off a galant vr4 so I dunno if their is a difference or not. but Im telling you there are no injector clips on the damn thing. some relays...etc and other various firewall items, but no injector clips.

If there aren't any injector clips, it has to be cut. That is not a separate set of wires, it is hardwired from injectors to ecu.

If it has the battery fuse block attatched, it is an engine harness.

there are no injector clips but there are weird other clips that look like they could fit but dont. there are four green rubber plug type things. they have green wires one with a white stripe and one with a black they are also spotted with red. Im pretty sure they have something to do with the fuel. its a complete harness, I mean its still all factory wrapped and all. its dirty too. my keyboard is greaser then hell now :-? .

It is for sure two seperate harnesses indeed I removed one out of a dsm yestarday.the one with the fuse block is not the same one for the engine. It connects togather with 1 plug 6 or 7 wires from memory.

Ouch from 2006 I didn't notice the date.

This is a 91 Eagle Talon harness. Turbo model.

Injector connectors are on the far right. Two blue, two black.

We were talking about the smaller fuse box that connects to the + side of the battery. Not the larger one that mounts to the inner fender.
