whats up with those fender flares on the picture on top of this page? is it a kit or do they sell them separately? were they offered in a special model or is that the work of an aritist?

that's a ralliart cyborg. came that way from the factory as far as i know... and don't even THINK about asking if anyone has one. lol! but i think they only made em to race, i don't think they sold any privately (and even if they did, there's most likely no more left).

it has been discussed here several times before,

it is a ralliart cup car, made only a few "spec" cars(all the same) and raced them in races, similar to nascar iroc cars.

dont you think we might be able to incorporate some body kits for other cars (like the honda fender flare kits) onto the mirages? would it be possible to bond two pieces together and then make one piece out of fiberglass to fit our cars therefore making kits for the mirages and allowing for wider tires. this would be awesome.

looking at the front wings you maybe able to use some escort cosworth jobbys as they do look similar, but it will need some major work to fit them but nothing is imposible.

There is a CJ shape Colt here in the UK with RS Focus arches and it looks mint! 8)

What happened to the cars after they stopped racing them?
Did they go to some Mitsu shrine in Japan or something, some special museum or something?? lol

Oh and, wouldnt it be possible to use Honda Civic flare kits, with a bit of modding, since the cars are basically the same shape??

hey gazzer, do you have any pics of that car youre talking about? you know i was thinking of the fender flares on the conquests are similar to the ones on the picture on top of this page and of the possibility of fabbing a fiberglass one to fit our cars. but then again, it would be easier to get a honda one and fit it to our cars.

Frnder flares has abeen discussed at length on this board. A search might pull up that info.

However, I've talked with Tom Shafer of Blossum Installations about doing a Dalhback Racing fender kit for our cars.

Looks good! I had thought about attempting to cast some molds off a old starion for fender flairs. It looked to me that it could've be a very close compairison of the RALLIART edition flares.

i like the last one on the orange honda . very very niiiiiicee. only thing would be getting actual wheel clearance with these kits. these are only for looks right. i would want something functional too so i would be able to upsize the rims and have wide tires for more traction. hey just a thought, the other day i was side by side with an eclipse gs turbo and with just a glance it seems that the rear, sides and front bumper could fit on our cars. anyone tried this? i know that the gsx spoilers are really big but the gsx are just a tad smaller and by looking it seems its the right size. just a thought. i think they would add aerodynamics to the car and good looks too.

Before I sold my car, I was running 225/40-16's on 40mm offset wheels with no rubbing on a lowered suspension.

That honda kit looks as if it wil give a CSM 1-1.5 inches of additional clearance. So you probably could get away with 17 by 7.5 or 8 inch width wheels, 40 offset with a 225 or 235-40/17 tire

This and other bumpers has been covered before. Using the search function will help sort that out for you.

Bumpers that are known to fit are:

1G bumpers

This was Gage's [RIP] car.

Ask antilag_200 for his pics as well.

and finally the JDM bumper replica by Tom Shafer:
