I have a 89 colt e. it doesnt have the tach.. can i take a guage cluster out of a mirage that has the tach and put it in? and make it work.. thanks John

Ok, i got the cluster, put it in. and i got nothing.. the seat belt light and check engine light worked.. The rpm didnt the fuel or temp didnt work.. Any ideas? thanks John

there are no conectors, it just slides in.. So i may have done it wrong.. anyone know????

how about the tach filter? aren't you guys forgeting that? i know for sure turbo mirage's have it cause i have it, but im not sure about colts since it doesn't have RPM tach

I have the same problem except that my Colt its a 91', its swaped now with a 90' 4g63 wiring arness with tach filter as well, today i just got a tach cluster from a 89 Mirage with the 7k rpm redline, everything works except the tach, any ideas?

I suggest checking out www.lilevo.com for tach issues. There is a how to on tach parts swapping to make certain parts mesh with one another.
There must be something in the archives also.
