I took a shortcut through mexico on my way home from work a few minutes ago, and while I was waiting at a light this g35xS comes flying up on my right so fast I thought he was going right through the red light. He stops a few feet across the line, and I figured he thought his car was fast so I left him in the dust from 0-40 and took his lane at the light 1/4 mile ahead so I wouldn't need to wait behind traffic..
Image
I look in the mirror and these two guys are sitting there with their jaws on thier laps. You could tell they were thinking "How the F*** does that tiny little old shitbox leave this $40,000 AWD luxury sport sedan in the dust like it's pulling away from an old fart with a rickshaw?"

A little further up the road we were lined up side by side, and the guy was thinking, "Never in Infinity is that going to happen twice". Little did he know...

Just as the light started to change I held the go pedal to the floor with the launch control set at 4500 RPM. He floors it and I can hear the 306HP 3.5L sucking air through it's dual air snorkels. He gains a three foot lead on me, but as I slip the clutch out gradually... He disappears out of my view.

I execute a perfect 1-2 shift with the NLTS as I see him shoot up alongside me again. I let out the clutch and automagically he dissapears then reappears in my side mirror. I got the damn thing to shift perfectly into third gear too, (which is far easier than 1-2 BTW) and the next thing I know he's a tiny dot. Image

I hit the brake and slowed back down to the Mexican speed limit, and they pulled up alongside me, honked and started giving me thumbs up. Shitboxes rule!

Nice kill, I love dropping jaws. I wanted to play with a S5 on the interstate today but rain made it a no go.

Off topic a little- it takes that thing 13 seconds to go 100-130?? Wow that seems reaaaaally slow.
