Not exactly a kill, but fun nonetheless...

I work night shifts starting at 1am and was on my way to work, there was only a couple of cars on the road. Noticed these round lights tailgating me, and then falling back a lil, and then flying up my exhaust again. He did it about 3 times, obviously trying to coax me into 'playing'. I wasn't going to, but we ended up coming to a traffic light, and I noticed him shift over into the other lane. Took a quick glance expecting to see some old clapped out shitter, but low and behold, it was a bloody beautiful red Stingray Corvette

The guy did a couple of 'lets go' hand signals, so I took the bait. Just as I was about to stutterbox it, the lights went green, so I gave it a quick blip and did the worlds most retarded 4WD half launch/bog. The V8 being so torquey, jumped right ahead, and by the time I hit boost he was about two car lengths in front and probably thought he had me in the bag. I stretched 1st to the limit but ran outta revs so could only nail around 17psi (I run 10psi, but suffer from boost creep... its my unintentional trump card  ) Anyway I grabbed a piece of 2nd, massaged the 20psi line, and closed the gap a lil, to about 1 car length. Whacked 3rd, started reeling him in like a mofo, and was pretty much dead even when I shut it off because of incoming traffic ahead.

Pulled up to the next lights and he was grinning ear to ear and nodding his head. I wound my window down, yelled out "not bad for a V8" and gave him the thumbs up. Lol poor guy looked as if someone had just ripped his ego to shreds and crapped all over it

So there ya go, my excitement for the night :)

Nice kill! Beating V8's is always an enjoyable experience.

...or if you had launched it properly.

It's always nice to hear about 4g61's taking care of business.

Haha yeah, launch control wont engage unless the car is stopped. I was still coasting at maybe 5kph when the light turned green, fully wasn't ready. The Vette was auto as far as I know so he just planted it and away he went. I kinda hesitated, shoved it into 1st, gave it a blip, probably to about 3000rpm, and did a super boggy excuse for a launch
