Well, I finally got my car able to drive for extended periods, thanks to Hemi's help. We fattened up the AFC and set boost to about 17.5 psi. We headed out to meet up with a couple friends sporting well built 240/SR20's, Eric, and Pauls 63/B16G swapped base model colt. All pulls were on the rather deserted highway enabling us to stretch our legs.
First was Scotty's 240 with HKS 30-71 running 1.4 bar, 264's etc. We went from a 60 mph roll and I spun for about 40 ft while he pulled but by the end of 4th I was 2-3 lengths on him and pulling hard. Second run was from 45 and I spun really bad while he put a couple car lengths on me. I passed him at the top of 4th before having to slow down fast for a car. Next was Nic's fully built SR20/240, 30-71 at 1.4 bar, 264's dyno'd 376 whp. Race started at 55 mph and he got a car length jump before I reacted. He had great top end and I didn't catch him till right before the 4-5 shift. Great time and I was really impressed with my untuned 1.6L.

Ok, here is the list

Stock, but refreshed 4g61 bottom end
1.8L head, ported, polished and decked
1.8L intake port matched to 2.0 t/b
HKS 272's (yes, on a 1.6!)
MLS Headgasket
Evo 8 560 injectors
Evo 8 FMIC
2G MAF/Dejon tool intake
Slowboy racing cast manifold (ported)
Tial 38mm wastegate
Precision BB 50 trim
2g 02 sensor housing (ported)
AFC2
63 turbo ECU
HKS SS BOV
Centerforce DF clutch
Full 3" exhaust
and a Blitz billet shift knob because I'm a ricer

I'm running 17.5 psi right now on 100 oct to be safe till I can get a safe low boost tune for the street. I want to run 24-25 psi when all is said and done...I'm hoping for 400-425 whp.

We don't talk about the honda parts jackass.

1.8 parts are a nice touch...bigger ports...higher compression. I consistantly make more power than the other guys in the area with 1.6's(back when we had similar setups), I'm sure its because the 1.8 head.

I like the nice list of mods. Are you hoping for 400 uncorrected or corrected?

Uncorrected...but thats after I get DSMLink and up the boost till I get there. Most of the miles on this car will be at the track so I will probably never run less than 100 oct in it. At this elevation, with good tuning, it should be possible.

Bobby, I want to see how the car is. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to go for a ride in it some time. I drove one that was bone stock. It was a blast.I am in the market for one. Just want to see if modding one will suit me as it is FWD and all. Emial me and let me know.
