I was rolling up the window the other day and I heard a crack and the window fell down. Upon removing the door card and inspecting it seems that whatever is supposed to hold the window while rolling up is letting the window go. If I roll the regulator down all the way I can feel something click then it will attempt the roll the window back up but eventually let it go again. I cannot see behind the door frame very well. Anybody have knowledge of what holds the window?

after removing and inspecting the regulator I noticed that the plastic piece that holds the regulator to the wire was broken. In fact, all the plastic had become brittle. Some epoxy provided an easy fix and reinforcement.
