Post subject:  What Engines will fit my 91' Lancer C62A?
I'll be rebuilding the 4G15 SOHC that I already have to get it running first, but I'm also considering an engine swap before or after the rebuild. Most likely after since I'll have to hunt the engine and get everything sorted.

What engines will fit my 1991 Lancer GTI Sedan C62A with the only modifications to the engine and/or transmission mounts, nothing on the body. Or very little and/or reversible modifications on the body.

I know somebody who has a 4G91 MIVEC with 4G13 transmission and he apparently didn't do any body side modifications to get it installed. Is that possible? I'd love to get a MIVEC engine in here.. :twisted:

I know the 4G63/4G63T 6-Bolt would fit right in with modification on the left engine arm and I could use the 4G15 transmission, but what's the story with the 7-Bolt?

I see you put a 4g63 but no 4g61.

I'm not listing the engine that will fit, I'm asking which engines will fit.

I been told by the guy with the 4G91 that the 4G61 is "a unicorn" in The Philippines.
