I did a search but there didn't seem to be any recent threads or any with pics that still work. Looking at the factory speedometer, there is a lot of room below the start of the numbers (5mph). Has anyone made a gauge face with the scale shifted counterclockwise to fill up the empty space? That would leave room to go up to 200mph probably too. I think that would look pretty badass.

You can count the people that could even use a 200mph speedo on this forum on one hand and maybe one or two of them would have the skill to do it. It'd be more useful to integrate things like an oil pressure gauge and boost gauge.

I have aftermarket gauges for that. I didn't dump a ton of money into my Colt just for it to be utilitarian. It's a fun car to drive and having a 200mph speedo would still just be cool. I remember when every car came with an 85mph speedometer and while that may be more useful, it's boring as hell.

That would be cool and probably possible.. What I think would be cooler and possibly much cleaner is a all digital cluster. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-Speedo- ... 38&vxp=mtr

I make gauge clusters that have a 7" lcd touch screen molded in. They run android.
Using obd or a data logging cable you can use a program like dash command or torque to see all of the engine stats.
Ill post pics once i upload them...
(this is why i like Facebook no re-sizing pics :P)

Thanks! I also make a windows double din that fits where the radio goes. So that way you dont need to bring a laptop for tuning.
I grew up holding the laptop for my dad when I was younger when he was tuning his car.. Got the idea from there

Megasquirt will work great for the tablet cluster set up as well. With a good gps you can do some really cool stuff as well. Gas mileage etc. You say you molded it in to the dash how does that look in a daytime shot? I was thinking you could always do a velcro setup so its removable
