I have a stock 89 Turbo Mirage. It was running fine when my wife was driving it and she said it lost power and sounded bad.

After trouble shooting, I found out I had spark, and compression well by compression I mean I pulled the plugs and it shot the spark plug wires out. I've tried a known working resistor and transistor pack. The injector are getting signal according to this little light you can stick in the ends of the injector connectors. While running, I can pull 1 and 2 injectors and no change. I pull 3 or 4, it kills the car. I've tried a different MAS and that didnt' change anything. The idle does get slightly higher when I unplug the MAS.

I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem but I'm at a loss.

have you pulled the top timing belt cover and check to make sure its in time? it sounds like it might have skipped a few teeth.

On drag radials.auto trans.launching @ 5 psi and no traction thru 2nd.

I'd check the timing next. If thats not it, you magically had 2 injectors fail at the same time.

I had the exact same thing happen before going to MOD. IT STUMPED THE HELL OUTTA ME. Turns out I had rust in my tank and it bypassed the fuel filter and was clogging the rail at the FPR and working back. The rust clogged #1, the. #2 then Eventually #3 until I found the problem. Pull the injectors and spray with carb cleaner if they are clogged

Bad coil maybe? It could be sparking but not enough.
