I called them on 6/3 and they said the shipper container came in with the right springs and to email them with my info so they can ship them out. Have not received
them yet.

At this point I don't know what I should do. They told me that the springs they just received are wrong too and they whohave tto drop ship the right springs. My trust in b and g is shot. After being wrong twice why would they be right the third time? They also haven't offered any way of making it right, which is troubling. I am now close to three months with my car on jack stands and still no closer to a solution. My advice? AVOID!

Tell them to give you your money back and move on.

Talked to them Friday. They asked me to ship the front springs back and they would check them against the ones they think are right. They did pay for return shipping but, the five dollar box to sbip was on my dime. Really bad customer service. The only good part about this is I've been a lot more thorough with the restoration on other systems. My fmic install is starting to look pretty tight!

When i ordered my set of B&G springs about a year ago, i was under the impression from the distributor, that the springs were the last set in the US. If this was true, it may take awhile until they can find more sets from international distributors. I believe B&G stopped making the springs for our cars because of age and lack of interest, as we are quite a small group compared to other, newer, makes and models. I'm sure they are working on getting some imported, it's just a matter of time.

I cut my front springs to obtain stock orientation. Cut 3/4 of a coil off, more or less. No binding, no scuffing. Dropped the front of the car 1/2" - 3/8" over the rear due to the cut spring.

After getting cussed out on the phone today by the owner of B&G I gave up. I called Auto Anything and they issued a full refund. I hate to say it guys but I think we are S.O.L. on this one. They are still no closer to getting the right application. Also to be honest I'm not sure I would trust putting anything on my car anyway from this company. I have never had worse customer service in my life.

That is unfortunate, to say the least. I can report though, that cutting the front springs did not sacrifice ride or performance in any way, just lowered the front a tiny bit.

I cut a single coil off the top of my front springs, and the way the car sits hardly changed. It was MAYBE a 1/4" drop (stock springs though), but it was just enough to convince my brain that the reverse rake look went away, lol. Ride quality stayed the same.

I had the same problem with my springs too. They are no longer on my car though. I went and bought Ksport coilovers for the Colt. Which even then I had to rig up a mount for the brake lines on the front. That's the problem with our cars, there simply just isn't enough interest in them for the companies to do the r&d.

Which end did you cut, the soft end(tighter wound) or the hard sprung end(looser wound)?

Hard sprung end.
