Has anyone worked on/with the heater blend doors in the 3g colts? Wondering how hard they are to get to? I found that my heat doesn't work well because the floor air is always cold (yet vent and defrost will be hot. Makes for some frozen feet when it is -9 with a -30 wind chill (as it is this morning). |

They're easy to get to. Just take off your glovebox door and the glovebox itself and bam, it's all right there. The doors are all controlled by cables coming off the hvac control head (the knobs). Check that all the cables are snapped into their holders, both at the ends and in the routing. I had an issue where my doors weren't sending heat where I set it and it was because one of the cables popped off the holding clip. Snapped it back in and everything worked fine. |

Haven't checked the doors yet, but I discovered if I place the air to recirculate, I get heat on the floor. Set it to fresh annd it is cold. |

+1On mine the cable sleeve mount or holder broke off. So moving the levers did nothing even when the ends where connected. I had to reach under the dash to articulate the doors. |
