Iv split a hose on the heater under the dash, has anyone else had this problem?
Is this a dash out job to fix?

There should not be any hose under the dash, the heater core should be metal tubes that stick out from the firewall into the engine bay.

Do you have coolant puddling/leaking into your dash area? If so, check the heater core for leaks, which is a dash out job ... not sure how much, but usually the whole shell for most cars/trucks.

In that case loop the heater cores hoses back into themselves, or rather remove one hose altogether and make a hose to loop the system effectively bypassing the heater core. Temporary action to save your interior. See if you can have the core blown out in the meantime to minimize the fluid leaking out from it to your floor.

Are you sure the heater hose from the firewall isn't leaking back into the cabin from a leak where the hose meets piping? Just a thought.
