A stock replacement? Just curious Why plastic? Unless its a drag car IV come realize the few extra lbs don't matter to me plus fwd its nice have weight in the back. Safety wise, cars now days and better bigger, driving in the colt is like a tincan especially driving on the highway I feel unsafe. I know there are plastic fuel cells if that interests you.

I'd trust a stock metal tank over any aftermarket plastic tank other than a full on fuel cell. Our metal tanks don't weigh that much when empty anyways, I remember holding mine up with one arm when doing the fuel pump.

Most factory plastic tanks are heavier than steel tanks anyway.
