I need a bit of help, I currently have a C83A Original Cyborg that i've built into a Rally Car here in Jamaica. Due to some recent changes to our rules governing vehicle requirements, I have to possibly revert back to the original (stock) position of the intercooler. Right now I have mine as an aftermarket unit installed in the front (like a regular Evo) but i cannot for the life of me find a picture or diagram showing where the stock one is located!!!!!!

Does anybody have any pictures or diagrams? I'd be soooo grateful :prayer:

Btw this is the link to my build thread on one of our local Automotive websites if you wanna see the car and its history.

Just going to throw a guess out there.. they may not of even had a intercooler, the US 4g61t did not, just hot piped. Lets hope you don't have to run hot piped :o

Try PM'ing snowdevl and asking him. He's the only other person I know on this forum who has a legit C83A. Some of them weren't even turbocharged from the factory, let alone intercooled. Just sayin'...

Also, please put a location in your profile

Pretty sure the intercooler was at the RF just behind where the JDM bumper had mesh/swiss cheese looking plastic beside the front marker, and the oil cooler was on the front left, also just behind the lower mesh/plastic swiss cheese panel. Trying to find pictures to this extent.

Reading through your build, and am quite amazed with what you have done to the little bucket. It has come a long way. It is also awesome to see underbody shots of a C83a getting an Evo rear drivetrain installed. What model EVO did the rear end come from?

It would be really neat to have this setup. Too bad all these parts can't really be acquired in the states. Doesn't look like there are any modifications, and it would keep the stockish look.
