Hi,

I made a quick search on the forum, but didn't find my answer. What are you using as SS clutch lines into your CSM (3rd gen.) ?

DIY hose with AN fitting ?
DSM aftermarket (a bit too long) ? (1G vs 2G ??)
Custom hose from a local hydraulic shop ?

Can some one tel me how "too long" is a DSM clutch line into 3rd gen. CSM engine bay ? (approx.)

If there is already posts with those informations, please let me know (here) !

Thanks !

1G DSM for a 3G CSM is really long, way too long. I would have shortened it a bunch but it still fit, but with some excess that had to be zip-tied in a few places.

I wish I knew how long it was, unravelled.

I got the kit from Ziggy at RTMRacing.com and it was a bolt-on and bleed/go affair for the turbo Colt.

I saw nothing on RTM web site. Do you know if the parts come from a EVO 1-2-3 ? By any chance, do you have a part number ?

thanks.

I use the 1g ss master to slave line, it seems to be about 2-3ft. too long so I have it looped but it works great. I got it from extremepsi.

http://www.extremepsi.com/store/product ... t=0&page=1

1g ss line 82in.
2g ss line 96in.

I have a stainless master to slave line for a 1g and it fits just fine. No looping or anything. It may be an inch or two too Long but that's it

It's the same one you have nocturnal. Maybe they were revised at some point?

I see, well I guess it may just depend on how it's routed then or maybe there was a revision.. To the OP, looks like you should be just fine running the 1g line 8)

Hi all's.

I have contacted today Techna-fit company for a shorty version of the Eclipse 1G clutch line.
I think we need a 53 inch version for a perfect fit.

Let me know if you are interested.
I take one custom made for sure.

Remy

I have a local Earls fittings shop where I got mine made, I'm sure you could get one made somewhere or summit or jegs might have something.

I'd go to the local shop that way you get the proper length you want. I go to the place by me that sells by the foot & and buy the fittings, decent prices. IV even used brake lines from slave to master on previous swaps. Lol
