Hey guys my buddy has a 1g talon with 1800cc injectors and a big 16g. The car is on ecmlink v3 and its been switched to speed density. We are having a problem getting the idle to lean out. We have tryed to pull fuel from the ve table the fuel sliders and from the global and deadtime but cant seem to get the air fuel ratio to come up from 10.0. The wideband just stays pegged I'm just trying to see if any of u have any ideas. We have went over fuel pressure vacuum leaks and the 02 sensor. Ill answer any questions i can but we both are fairly new to the tuning software but we have read the whole ecmlink wiki. Please help with any in put that u can.

are you logging with v3 also?.... always go by the tuning program.. gauges are just a est... sounds like the inj size and dead times need to be adjusted more to get it up..

If you could attach a log, it would be much easier to see what the problem is.

Yes we have tryed to adjust the injector size just to see if it would make a difference and it wouldn't run properly and also we tryed making drastic changes to both the global fuel and deadtime just to see if it would lean out and it so rich that it was pumping black smoke out the exhaust. With all setting we went both way up and down just to see if it would lean out and it didn't so that's why I think we must be missing something

A randon question, but what is fuel pressure? And what is the rest of the fuel system consist of. I have seen fuel pressure overrun more lately with oem fpr's getting older.

The car is a 1g auto so that's why we put the fuel pressure at 43.5 because thats what everyone was saying the 1g autos liked but we also tryed different fuel pressures and that didnt help.

I am auto also and mines at 38 with the hose off..

have u tried to lower it and then adjust dead times... or only adjust DT with it at the 43?.. might be worth a try.
