yes the roof was glued on. and I would but every last dollar its stiffer than the factory spot welds. its expensive and time consuming compared to welds. I have never used aluminum filler. my experience with kitty hair (fiberglass reinforced plastic) left me looking for better ways to do things. its really crappy stuff from my experience. its good for doing repairs on stuff you dont really care about. |

I agree, I helped a buddy glue a new 1/4 panel onto a van and it held like a champ. It's my understanding most bodyshops are now using this method over the spot welds. I used the fiberglass filler to fill two tiny holes in my hatch where the PO attached a handle with #8 screws. It worked perfect for that. |

I've noticed that darker color cars are always worse, must be due to the heat. Thanks for the detailed pics, I'm sure that will help others in the future. |
