What are the differences between the GL and GT models, for the ones with the 1.5 in it?

1989-92 C52 GT Canadian models aka Colt 200e/GT:
Lower chin spoiler, rear 1 piece roof spoiler and side skirts or none of the above
Always have the better looking cloth seats but not the Turbo style
Suspension is always the same between the C52a models in e/GT form
No electric seatbelt controls in the Canadian models
Electric mirrors are an option (I've had it on C52aGT/C53aGT Turbo models), cannot confirm a C52a with stock power windows from Canada as of yet
Rear Speakers as an option and speakers in the dash
Intermittent wipers is hit or miss depending upon how the car was ordered, all my GT's had intermittent wipe settings (INT/LOW/HIGH)
Cruise control is hit or miss at best and probably non-functional unless you are very lucky; I have only seen 1 C62a model with cruise and a 4g15 setup, my 4g61t stock setup has cruise but it is unresponsive to input

I've never owned a GL so I cannot speculate on their level of interior, but they must have the vinyl seat material.

Thanks, I just hope someone with GL ownership can pipe in here about what they come with standard or could be ordered with.

I have a white 91 GL, other then ground effects, front bumper chin and rear spoiler the bodys are identical they all have the painted bumpers unlike the base model. The interior however is WAY differient. The GT Models have the 145mph tach, WAY nicer front and rear seats(I would like to find a used set if I could). Front door panels on the GT models have enclosures for the speakers, Steering wheel is way differient leather and way cooler looking on the GT models. Other then the Turbo Motor, ECU, tranny and wiring harness I believe they are the same.oh and the GT models also had power locks? My GL does not. Hope that helps.

Oh, Canadian GT's almost ALWAYS had full body colour match side mirrors (x2) and matched bumpers with the red pin stripe in the center groove. I've seen most US and overseas models like Europe with a black center trim setup and could never understand that part other than the Canadian market demanding more from their imports to keep sales up to par. *shrug* I much prefer a full color match if possible.
