A little insight. Car is fruit and banana nuts. FWD is just retarded. Anywho. I am unsure as to what speedometer cable and sending gear are in the tranny. Tranny is KF5M33. Car is using the original gauge cluster. Car is also using a 91 ecu modified to work as a 90 ecu.

Well. My speedometer reads 20-30mph high on the highway. It reads 10-20mph high in town. Dsmlink reads 5-10mph high in town and 15-20mph high on the highway.

Do I need just a cable from a 1G, the sending gear on top of the tranny from a 1G or is there something that needs to be done to the speedometer? Or am I just SOL.

Let me know what I need to do to get the speedometer to read correctly. I am not sure if it makes much of a difference, but I think it might affect my timing control with dsmlink.

Any help is appreciated.

Steven

No one has put a DSM FWD tranny into an original turbo CSM huh? Guess I will grab a gear from one at the junk yard and try myself.

Well obviously not. Or the speedometer would be right. If they were the same then the gears would be the same. They would share the same part number on the bell housing. I don't know. You tell me.

Guess you will have to try it and find out...I think your the only one who cares if your speedo reads right...I'm running the same tranny and 1.6l cable and it's only about 5mph off wich is no big deal for me....
