I haven't gone past the initial email to the Canadian contact, Peter, and a couple emails to headquarters in Malaysia.

Instant response from Peter (with all details require to measure and test for fitment), no response from Malaysia.

IF stuff is already developed and Peter can confirm it (I imagine so much easier for him if it is there in his shop, but very doable with measurements), then it is much easier to deal with.

There is another thread for exact detail and related banter, located in general or tech section.

Tax season is here, and some people may be thinking about suspension options. Coilover (rebuildable) or uprated shocks (Koni, etc) and good spring combinations.

If the listings for Mirage 1.3/1.5/1.6L 2DR are correct, then we are good. I have not been back in contact with Peter until I know I am going through with this. If someone was going to Toronto and back, I do now have a stock CSM setup (C52A Front and rear OEM struts loaded with all stock parts). I accidentally broke the rusty bolts for the brake line brackets but that is of little consequence.

HotBits (Peter) is listed as a Swift spring dealer. That is great news for people looking for a stock shock and drop spring or whatever spring combination that is needed in 60mm form for coilovers, or full size diamater for stock type shock bodies. Swift seems to list a vary low rate/height change (very low percent) for their springs, so a very close tolerance is kept for product leaving the production line. I have the stock front struts with springs, have been contemplating the gcc/koni install. Could ship them out, if need be :)

I figure it is cheapest if I send down my set, being a 5 hour drive for the mail guys.

Maybe even send them down on a ride share type of deal. Pay someone`s gas!

Greyhound shipping used to be the cheapest for bulky parts, somebody must wait for the bus on the other end though.
Is it really that bad (as far as suspension options for C50 go), no Impreza/Evo/Golf adj coilovers that we can fit in there?

Sent a complete email to Peter to get the ball rolling.

I now have a full set of C52A suspension that could be used for testing/fitment.

All concerns that were previously listed and more, have been detailed.

Currently researching the form of the suspension to start (Peter can build off what I give him) and tune based upon the data I will have for my car.

I may corner weight my car, if it will incorporate nicely into developement of my setup. Otherwise it would be kind of blind guess work.

Sent an email stating I could send in OEM suspension to be analyzed and built off of, but never got any word back.

I may call to confirm any issues or if they are just super busy.

Barring that ... only other options are K's and or send some stuff to F and or BC for development.

I bit the bullet based upon wanting my car on the road in the next few weeks.

This topic will stand as an option, but for now I have settled on some off the shelf product of another variety.

I just hope what I got is a straight bolt up including the brake lines.

If I have to purchase more stuff, I will, but I need to have this car driving soon.
