how about a forum/sticky listing peoples SAFC settings with their engine mods (engine, ecu, injectors, MAF/MAS, etc...) something like this:

example only... i don't have an SAFC yet...

4g61t
4g61t ecu
550cc injectors
2gen hacked maf
small 16g
FMIC
190lph walbro
etc.....

settings:
1000rpm....... -20%
2000rpm........-25%
3000rpm........-25%
4000rpm........-20%
5000rpm........-15%
6000rpm........-15%
7000rpm........-10%
8000rpm........0%

---------------------------------
This could be a great tool for new SAFC users...

whaddaya think?

phil
(i posted this in another forum, but i hi-jacked the thread, so i reposted it in a more appropriate location....sorry about the double post, gents!)

I don't think it would be a bad idea. Although, people would have to take the info with a grain of salt as SAFC settings seem to be VERY car-specific. On similar setups I've seen settings vary because of altitude, temperature, humidity, available gas, driving style, comfort of tuning, etc. Not a bad idea, but you'd have to let people know from the get-go that these settings would be a base for them to TUNE OFF OF. Just my opinion...

yeah...on such cars like a 1.6 with 450cc injectors..some cars...such as mine will prolly be....will read like 20% or more accross the board..up to about 5500 and it will be 0 or + some.

Ive seen some eclipses with web or hks cams have as much as -30% across the board because of the loss of vacuum at idle, and they have to make up for the injectors richening up by leaning them out more...
