89Colt/Mirage Mas wire colors 1.6L turbo pin 1 Idle Postion Switch........Blue pin 2 air flow sensor..............Green/Blue stripe pin 3 MPI control...................Red pin 4 5v Power supply...........Green/Red stripe pin 5 not used.......................N/A pin 6 Ground for sensors........Green/Black stripe pin 7 Baro. pressure sensor....Green/Yellow stripe pin 8 Intake temp sensor........Green/Orange stripe Colt/Mirage Mas pin order ............................. .....4.....3....2....1.... ............................. ............................. .....8.....7....6....X.... ............................. pin 5=X not used 98 DSM wire colors 2.0L turbo pin 1 5 volt power supply........Green/Yellow stripe pin 2 Baro. pressure sensor.....Orange pin 3 Airflow sensor.................Blue/Yellow stripe pin 4 MPI................................Red pin 5 Ground for sensors..........Black pin 6 Intake temp sensor.........Red/Blue stripe pin 7 Idle position....................Red/White stripe pin 8 Not Used.........................N/A 2g Mas pin order .......................................... .......................................... ...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...X.... .......................................... .......................................... pin 8=X not used So to summarize: 4g61 pins ---------- 2G MAF pin 1 ---------------- Pin 7 pin 2 ---------------- pin 3 pin 3 ---------------- pin 4 pin 4 ---------------- pin 1 pin 5 ---------------- x pin 6 ---------------- pin 5 pin 7 ---------------- pin 2 pin 8 ---------------- pin 6 Match up the 2 pins that correspond to one another. I removed the female part from the 1g Mas so I wouldnt have to cut my wiring harness.I found this to be the easiest way.Soldering the wires to the plug then heat shrink terminals on the female plug followed by wire loom to keep it all neat looking.
