So to summarize:

4g61 pins ---------- 2G MAF
pin 1 ---------------- Pin 7

pin 7 ---------------- pin 2

Match up the 2 pins that correspond to one another.
I removed the female part from the 1g Mas so I wouldnt have to cut my wiring harness.I found this to be the easiest way.Soldering the wires to the plug then heat shrink terminals on the female plug followed by wire loom to keep it all neat looking.
