so i've got some vr4 hubs w/ twin-piston calipers.

i got some second-hand front shocks from a friend, and they were already notched to accept the gvr4 hubs.

everything is bolted up, but i have HORRIBLE positive camber. also, i have a popping in my front suspension (blown shocks/partially blown shocks). i hand-tested the shocks before i installed them, and they had decent reboud. could it just be my pillow mounts are excessively worn?????

also, am i going to need to grind down the inside face of the hub where it bolts to the strut? i got the hub to bolt to the strut with notching on the bottom of the strut only, but it seems like a very extreme angle for the hub to be mounted to the strut.

so to correct my camber, RRE offers adjustable camber plates. they say it does wonders for negative camber, but how much will this help my positive camber issues??

also, am i going to run into axle problems. i am going to be running a 2g-style galant 2.4 L D31 series transmission. just a step down from the 2g D33 turbo tranny.

i tried stapping an awd axle that i had lying around into the tranny just to check, and it seemed to go into the tranmission just fine, but am i going to have any issues using my stock gt equal-length axles with this transmission and hub setup???

i want to drag, and road race my car, so i would like a very solid suspension setup. i don't have money for full coilovers, and by all practical means, this is a "budget buildup".
