sort of on topic i have a set of 15x7 rims what tire size would you recommend. they came with 195's would anything wider fit or would it not be worth it(stock ride height on a 4g61t)
You can fit a 225-width tire on a 7" rim no problem. I'm running 225/45-17s on my 17x7" rims for my SpecV. The tire doesn't look much wider than the rim at all. My stock 17x7s came with 215s, which are a damn good fit, too.

I'm seriously thinking of 15x7 rims with 225/50-15 tires. That much rubber would be AWESOME on such a small car. But 205/50-15 would be the exact same diameter as the stock tires...so I'll probably end up with that. Plus, it's easier to find 15x6 or 15x6.5" rims, which would be a better match for a 205-width tire.

Check this site out, you can figure out what sizes match up here:

SwandelPark - 2 things

1) please put your location in your profile

2) were you talking about my car? if so, i have that static cling tinting in the back at 20%. once i get the car running again, i'll be able to go get it done professionally at 20% and maybe 35% for the side windows up front.
