Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I have an 89 Mirage Turbo that is mostly gutted and set up for drag. It is the original 1.6T motor with 115k miles on it. Stock internals. I have a 1g 14b turbo ported with 3" o2 housing and 3 inch dump that just goes straight down from the turbo. 2g ported exhaust manifold with tial 35mm wastegate and manual boost controller. 1g side mount with 2 1/2" outlet and custom made hard UI piping with a Turbo XS blowoff valve and 2g throttle inlet and 1g throttle body. The only other mods are a Crane DI2 ignition and SAFC. I'm running 25 # of boost with 26x8.5x15 MT ET Drag slicks. Suspension is all stock except for dropzone coil overs. I have the turbo off right now and I'm getting ready to put a big 16g and 550cc injectors on and make a custom lower intecooler pipe. I expect to be in the mid 11's. Right now it is making 256 HP at the wheels with 234lbs. torque and it weighs 2045 lbs. Keep an eye on track times. I'll be back to the track as soon as the local machine shop gets power back and welds the lower pipe!

I finally got back to the track last night. I now have a ported big 16G with 550 injectors. I also modified the side mount intercooler to have 2 1/2" inlet and outlet as well as 2 1/2" custom tubing from turbo to intercooler. The car is fast as $h!T for a completely stock internal 1.6T!!! I think I will have it into the low elevens with some dyno tuning and a welded diff. I'd also like to do the 2.0 cam swap. It is probably going to be a few months before I can get back to the track though because they say I have to have a roll cage, fireproof jacket, and an external cut-off! Damn safety rules! I'll keep you informed-

I am impressed. Who would have thought #2 on the times list would be a 61t. Greg

The most impressive thing is the stock susspension, and a regular diff, almost too good to beleave. What 60 fts are you getting and what are you running threw the 1/8th.

PS-I also have a NOS intercooler sprayer to keep the intake air cool. It picked up 23 WHP with the old 14b turbo.

Just got back from the dyno. 313WHP at 28 lbs. of boost with 114 octane fuel. Also got my roll cage in, so I'll be back at the track next week! Hoping for mid 11's(on a stock internal 1.6T)!
