Have you tried Canadian Tire they should have the gasket for it...

As for step by step instructions theres not much to know undo the nuts and then the unit comes off. (although I may be way off base as I have never had the downpipes off my engine) Only piece exhaust I haven't had to replace.... Ask me about the Cat. Convertor I could do that job in 10 mins I ve had to do twicw on my car... Old engine had cruddy valve seals and a non functioning O2 Sensor it did wonders for emmissions and clogging the Cat... had to do a cat when I bought the car so it could pass emissions. 10 month later to renew my sticker I had to do it again of all the damn things... C'est la vie...

Thanks Berserko for your reply, but I meant cylinder head gasket... my bad, sorry about that. Anyway, I'm passing by Canadian Tire and check out there, they might have or know. Btw, how is the job on the cat done? I think I have problems there too.

ColtX: hmm I bet UAP/NAPA would have the head gasket (i don't know if they're in PQ or not) and as for a cat thet best way to do it is this... chances are the nuts and bolts on it are rusted buy a dremel at Canadian Tire cut the bolts and the cat should slide right out now if you are replacing it with just a stock unit Canadian Tire does have one but its special order only it takes about 3 days to get in. Of course you'll need the 2 cat gaskets. and after the job is complete return your dremel for a full refund. Now if you want the job to go faster you could also use an angle grinder to chop off the heads (up to you...) Hope this helps...

Have you ever priced anything at the dealer for this car? I thought I had a intermittant MAF I priced a MAF and it was only $800 with a 6 month wait... (turns out it was a faulty O2)
