Just wondering?

Which turbo manifold will fit a 4G15?

Would the VR-4 manifold (4G63B) or Cyborg (4G61t) fit?

OR do I have to custom make one???

Cos they are all the 4G block?

CUSTOM.
The 4g15 is a SOHC where as the 61t and the 63t are DOHC the exhaust manifolds are completely different, a 63t exahust mani would be an "upgrade" on the 61t.

Actually, not many people know this but the Hyundai Scoupe turbo exhaust manifold will fit the 4g15. I would double check but we did compare them at the junkers one day and its a visual perfect match. As well, I believe I have my suspicions that the Mazda turbo 4cyls from way back (the MX-6 turbo I think) also have a manifold to match.

Just a word on engine codes... 4G isn't the block code (like it is in a Toyota, say)... It works like this:

4 - # of cylinders
G - Cast iron block (A for aluminum block)
6 - Block code. Parts from engines with the same number here interchange
7 - Engine revision (correlates to displacement)

(4G67 is an 1800cc lump found in Hyundais and European Mitsus. It is very similar to the 4G61 and 4G63.)

Hope this helps.

Is the turbo scoupe 8 or 12 valve? The ports, intake and exhaust, are very different. The manifolds will bolt up tho. Some idiot put a exhaust manifold from a excel on my car before i got it. :x Square ports on the head to round on manifold.
