Simple question if anyone knows the answer that would be great what is the redline to a 4g15??? And no im not going to hold my gas pedal to the floor to find it I just want to see if anyone knows the answer thank you.. |

German 1.3L made peak power at 6000, peak torque at 4000 RPM. 9.5:1 Still searching for 1.5L stuff. Going to look at gauge clusters from overseas. |

5500 RPM for peak HP, and 3500 for peak Torque. 4G15 at unknown compression rating per the service pre-release pamphlets. http://www.lilevo.com/mirage/1%201%20BR ... S%2023.jpg You can wind it up higher, but it is guaranteed choked off due to exhaust/intake and timing restrictions. The design of the 3 valve head also leads to flow issues up top. The guys at RPW Australia had work arounds for this, but it was very expensive to do. |

My redline (Rev limiter) on my little 4g15 is around 6100rpm.. Just an fyi for anyone. |

I got tired of not knowing so I got on the highway and hit 70 at around 6100 rpm in second gear lol and then redlined in first on my second go. These motors can stand up to a lot. I'm surprised its lasted me this long. |
