Planning on picking up a spare 4g15 and rebuilding it here pretty soon. Does anybody know any good rebuild kits for these motors? I don't want to use any joe blow kit off ebay. I would like to use Mitsubishi seals but I'm not sure if they make them anymore. Thanks in advance. :D

Rock Auto Rock Auto Rock Auto.
You will get everything you need from them. I've tried local part stores and got all different parts that weren't right and than they wouldn't take it back because it was a Special Order from a factory so I have bit more than $250 worth of paper weights sitting here. If you plan on grinding it down a little make sure ya talk to the machine shop and see what they say. I bought my Master Rebuild Kit and than took it to the Machine shop! He wasn't to happy :P But yeah, Rock Auto I can't say enough about them and talking to them on the phone or email all quick replies. And have not got the wrong part from them!

Oh and another thing ya might want to check out is the old forum threads! Alot of great info! :)

MSD Install Gets rid of the problems you'll run into. Hit it with both colts I had Will change it on this colt:

Some great info here.. I've referred to it so many times... It comes up as my homepage!:
Upgrades for the 4g15 found at your local wrecking yard

Another site that has good info:
http://www.ben9166.com/2010/06/4g13-and ... ld-to.html

Make sure ya go thru the Archives because you'll find alot of the info you need right there and see what others found to make it easier for ya! :supz: And best of all you learn the tips and tricks and than ya got some spare free time! :drinkers:

Hopefully that helps ya out. I would do the TB upgrade and an adj cam. I already had my stuff at the machine shop before I found out about this site but when the time comes I'll be getting the colt a lil more life slowly but surly!

Good luck on your build! And make sure ya post in the Build section so we can check in on ya! :)

Cheers! :partyman:
