I give it 1000 miles before something blows. Ebay builds never end well...

sorry to disapoint you but it ran for 1 year and it broke through the transmision. Its not to just build and expect to last forever is to build and know its limitation. I knew I didnt had a rocket but with that kind of boost a lot of NA cars coudnt beat me. A few of them did but this is part of the sport. :D

Cool that you got it to work but all those junk parts are going to fail and cause problems. Ebay turbo + ebay wastegate + ebay bov = problems sooner than later. I'm not knocking your work, just your choice in "upgrades".

Current ebay products seem to last a bit longer than usual, so I wouldn't be worried. He said it lasted quite a while before the tranny gave up. My only question is how does the little 1.5 spool that T4, lol. 7 psi is not very much for something that big.

Some current ebay products, not very many but I'd still be worried about it.. I would NEVER run an ebay turbo or bov. He's only running a small T3, spool probably isn't very bad. I'd love to see how much shaft play it has though.

He says T04 in his post, and that thing is massive compared to a T3. Maybe it's the usual T3/T4, which is still going to be big for a 1.5 IMO.
Either way, he has apparently had some success with it, and it has apparently lasted, so I guess we're all just grasping at straws for reasons to criticize it, lol.

Guys is not bad for the critizice it its ok, Right now I have better parts. I know ebay products arent, the best there are my current setup doesnt have any ebay products and thats why im going for 20lbs of boost. But this was my firts work in making a car turbo and I wasnt going to choose 1,500 turbos, 250 bov, 300 wastgate, etc. just to experiment on a car that inst a normal choice to upgrade. With that setup i knew how much power it can withstand and how the motor react to the boost. Ebay products cant be utilize to make great power but it gives an idea on how it will peform.

It was To4 turbo, it lag as hell but since the car was automatic when it boosted it never let down the boost, so when I ran with the cars only got in front of me about 2 cars then the 7 lbs of boost just stayed there all the race.

Dont worry guys ill put some new pics I just wont put them now the engine bay is a mess.

Hey man its your car. You do whatever you feel like doing to it. Its just nice to see someone that's not afraid to think outside of the box once in a while. The little 1.5s aren't much of a motor and getting 92 horsepower, its easy to see why they are often swapped out in favor of a larger engine. But I have always wondered just how much power is possible from a forged internal 4G15. Keep it up brother and keep us updated. I find this build fascinating.

agree, because nobody will give you money to tell you what to do or not do, if the ebay turbo kit worked fine with your setup why would you replace it? 7 psi its not that dangerous for a chinese turbo...

Dude keep this post going I want to know how much Horsepower your getting with that thing. That setup is awesome only a few people have attempted it a lot of people say its a waste of time if you want horsepower go with a 4g61 or a 4g63t but why not work with what you got.... and when that fails you can move up lol... But seriously more updates...
