So I have a 1990 dodge colt that I'm planing to swap my 4g63 into. The 4g15 thats in the colt now has a bad bottom end, I still wanna drive this car daily while am building my 4g63. My question is I know there is a 12v and 8v 4g15 I have an 8v but can I swap any 99-94 4g15 block To my 8v head? Having trouble finding a 90-93 4g15 block but Ive seen several 94-99 blocks available just need to know if there compatible |

not sure about the 97-01 blocks, but the 93-96 block swap over not sure about the head since mine was a 12v, i have a 94 4g15 in my 91 which was in my 92 before hand. you do got to chase the threaded holes on the block for the motor mounts as the mounts are on the transmission and not the block, but the hole are there and already tapped just got the clean out the road crud thats in there. the exhaust will swap over just need the down pipe too. the intake i didn't use cause of many reasons, so i reused the intake that came stock with my 92. hope that helps some. |
